About Cathy

Specializing in benefit auctions and fundraising, Cathy’s engaging, articulate and mission-focused style has raised millions of dollars for nonprofits, schools and charities.

Cathy excels in fundraising, event creation and consulting and has hosted and wielded the gavel at many successful fundraisers. For over fourteen years she has been instrumental in raising funds for the Greater New England Chapter of the National MS Society. Cathy has also served on their board of directors for eleven years and created and conducted several fundraisers, one of which recently surpassed the million-dollar mark in funds raised.

An award winning professional speaker and storyteller, Cathy is also an accomplished Toastmaster and Toastmaster judge. She is a member of the National Auctioneers Association and has recently completed the Benefit Auctioneer Specialist certification program. She has also received the advanced certificate designation from the Elizabeth Bishop Wine Studies Program at Boston University. Her earlier years were spent studying music and performing as a classical and jazz trumpeter.

Cathy is a nationally recognized professional golf instructor and Lead Coach for the Golf Channel. She has made several appearances on The Golf Channel’s, “Morning Drive” program as a featured Coach of the Week. Cathy has been a Class “A” member of the Ladies Professional Golf Association since 2000. She is among the leaders in golf coaching in the United States and is part of an elite group of golf coaches for The Golf Channel Academy. She has been nominated for the prestigious “Golf Digest” top 50 Teachers list, Voted Best Teacher in the Region for Golf Magazine and was on the Golf for Women Magazine Top 50 Teacher’s list eight consecutive years.
